13 Jan A Question to Move You
Not every question needs an immediate answer. Some questions function as an intention to move the mind in a specific direction.
For example, put two people together and ask them, ‘How easily can you see the person in front of you beyond the story of who you think they are……whilst at the same time, open to being seen by them beyond the story of who you think you are?’
It can take a moment for that question to settle and the intention to take root.
Then what you may glimpse is their eyes rested and alive
As what they get to experience goes beyond words.
I’m reminded of the W.B.Yeats quote, “The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper”
If you want to go deeper into the notion of presence, here is a short clip from an interview I did for Actors Anonymous, in which I talk about the importance of sensitising ourselves to the present moment in connection to our personal evolution.
